Thanksgiving 08.... I know, I know, better late than never Right??

I just wanted to post about my fun trip to California for thanksgiving. It was such a nice visit, we had a really good time! Even though we weren't able to stay a whole long time, it felt like a lot of quality time together. One day Jessica and I cut each others hair, it was lots of fun, we always laugh a lot when we are together and we had a good time. Hillary came over and watched us be silly and was the one to cut about 8 inches off of Jess’s hair to get it going. So then we surprised my mom at a football game that night. It was fun to see Paradise High win their final championship football game against Shasta. The seating at the high school football stadium was really awful and cramped, seriously you had to sit in between strangers legs and had strangers sitting that close to you also. But the excitement of the game made it fun.

My dads sister Sandy and her husband Ray were there at my parents house for thanksgiving, it was nice to get to know them better and spend time hanging out. My dad has always collected little mind twister games, like the jump the peg game and just tons of ones that are fun to solve. So one night we all just sat around and played games, it was such a fun time!

Dave and I took a few hours one morning and drove around to see the damage that the fires left this summer. It wasn't as bad as I had imagined, but it was sad to see a couple of places where homes had been completely destroyed. It's so fun to just drive around Paradise, it brings back lots of memories from being a kid.

I was also able to take my family out for some photos, I loved taking pictures of my mom and dad. They were so cute and the pictures turned out good. They are such Awesome parents to us, not only my sister and brother and I, but to Dave and fun grandparents to the kids. They love everyone and seriously even strangers feel welcomed and loved in their home. It is really cool! My sister has the cutest family, they were fun to take some shots of too!
